Default Goodbye 2008 Hello 2009

Another year has past for Blu-Ray. A year in which the format war was won at least two titles that sold over a million copy's and record price drops in hardware.

All but affirming Blu-Ray is here to stay and is well on course to match and exceed the success of DVD even in these bleak economic times.

I always said 2009 will be the start of what will eventually result in the near death DVD sometime in 2012.

Expect price drops on back catalog titles and new titles as players fly off the shelf's.

Expect nothing less than 20% market share expect nothing but total carnage for DVD.

Well...That's what i think any way what do you guys hope or expect in 2009 from Blu-Ray.

Yep. Happy New Year. I'll drink a beer or twelve for everyone on New Years Eve.
