Default Kung Fu Panda Blu-ray

I bought a Kung Fu Panda Blu-ray and it's just my 2nd Blu-ray movie so I'm still a newbie about Blu-ray discs.. Any thoughts about it? Is it worth buying?

I bought it blind also and we liked it a lot. Also it is probably one of the best looking blu-rays out there. It really is eye candy and a good movie to boot.

It was ten times better than I expected. There wasn't much hype so my expectations were low.

Awesome movie/BD all around.

If you have kids, it's a definite buy. If you don't.....it still is. Oh, and the PQ and AQ are awesome!

Congratulations and welcome to our new Blu-ray fans.

Kung Fu Panda is absolutely incredible! The image and sound quality is top notch. The characters are wonderful and there is no question about how excellent the actors who did the voices are. Jack Black steals the show an the chubby lovable panda and who can resist Dustin Hoffman as that stressed out kung-fu master (is he a squirrel or a possum?).

Blind bought that one as well. Well worth it. Picture was outstanding. Another one I blind bought was Wall-E. Wall-E is a graphical masterpiece! Oh, and it's an awesome movie too.

Default My wife got it as a birthday present

We laughed our asses off on the first viewing.

We had a house full of people over Christmas Eve. I put Kung Fu on in the family room for the kids after opening presents. The adults sterted drifting down (to the bar) and stayed. Everybody gave it a thumbs up.

We have a 65 inch rear projection Toshiba. No 1080P only 1080I. It still looked fantastic on our set.

Yup, finished watching it earlier. I am VERY glad I picked it up. It's yet another one of those nice short and sweet (88 minutes) movies that I can just pick up and play whenever I want. The PQ and AQ blew me away, I was more impressed than I was with Cars and Ratatouille. Granted, the vivid colours that were prevalent throughout (as opposed to a film like TDK with it's blacks) were perfectly suited to my LCD display (as blacks aren't it's strong suit).
