I liked it but it could have been so much better. But seems like the director was going to keep it more uplifting and not dwell on the lows so much and just keep it more fluff. Just seemed like a missed opportunity from a director who has proven he can make a near flawless sports doc.

I didn't get a chance to see this, so I definitely be getting this soon. The greatest Maverick of all time and the greatest Dallas sports hero in my opinion.

Go Mavs!

Uhhhhh yes! I understand there are many great Cowboys from different eras to choose from. And besides Modano and a few Rangers. Dirk was the one has done it all for the Mavs and has represented Dallas sports very well for almost 20 years now.

But then again, that's just my opinion.

Yeah you really need to understand this because it's not sinking in for you. Staubach, Troy, Emmitt have had greater success in their sports than Dirk has in his.

Naw bro I know the history. I'm not knocking on any of those legends. But that's just it, Troy had Emmitt and vice versa along with Irvin and other great players. I know they all had greater success when it comes to championships, but that's not everything to me. I understand Staubach is probably the number 1 Cowboy of all time, but he also played with many great players as well. It's not easy winning championships in any sport, and I'm just happy Dirk was able to win at least one with little help throughout his soon to be hall of fame career.

You can choose any Cowboy you want, but Nowitzki is my dude.

There probably isn't another athlete who did more with less than Dirk. This really can't be disputed. Took three different teams with three different coaches to the western finals, two to the finals during the hardest and deepest era nba history, Jason terry was his best teammate (lulz), etc.

To argue otherwise shows a massive lack of awareness and understanding.

But why didn't the Mavs even come close to a championship the following season if Dirk apparently did it alone? You seem to underestimate the importance of Tyson Chandler. In retrospect, not re-signing him was one of the dumbest moves Cuban has made not counting the potential missed draft picks that are way more unpredictable.

That's ridiculous. Olajuwon in 94, Duncan in 03 and Rick Barry in 75 did more, that is the same with less.

Dirk in 2011 finals: 26.0 points on .416 shooting in 40.4 minutes
Jason Terry in 2011 finals: 18.0 points on .495 shooting in 32.6 minutes

Vernon Maxwell, Hakeem's second leading scorer in the 1994 finals: 13.4 points on .365 shooting in 37.7 minutes

How Hakeem carried that Rockets team to a championship in 1994 I'll never know. It's ridiculous to claim Dirk did it with less than Hakeem.
