Default Audio Sound - What is the order ?

OK -

Looked around the forums didint see the info I am looking for..

Lossless Audio is at the top of the list for Optiminum Theater Sound.

Stereo 2.0 is at the bottom...... Can someone rate where all the other audio settings fall in ? IE: 5.1 7.1 DTS THX 1.3 ETC ....

BTW Can one get Lossless and THX certified rating together in an HTamp ?

Read A Guide to Home Theater Audio Codecs and stop worrying about rankings.

With your equipment, you should know all that stuff doesn't really matter! Someone with a pair of MBLs running stereo I'm sure could take on any Klipsch 7.1 system with a "THX-certified" receiver and it would be like swatting a fly with a Buick.

Do you mean Vifa speakers? Never heard of Vivfa...

And you can get lossless + THX certification, but don't put too much weight into "THX certified."

5.1, 7.1, DTS, 6.2, 9.2 - it all means very little, honestly - it's the equipment and proper placement that makes a setup shine.
