Default A new film about Bruce Lee's master - Ip Man Trailer

For people who likes martial arts or Bruce Lee's movies, here's a movie about the life of Bruce Lee's master:

Check it out - starring Donnie Yen: http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/ip-m...he-green-light

Apparently, the movie sparked so much interests that it's already gotten a sequel greenlighted before its release. I really can't wait to see this movie. One word to describe the fight scenes, explosive!.

No doubt about that. He is even better than Jet Li, in term of martial arts performance and screen presence.

ZOMG (could not express what I'm feeling right now).

So, I've never heard of this movie before, and after watching the trailer, I want to see this movie bad. I'm quite the fan of Bruce Lee, let alone Martial Arts. Will this movie be accompanied with subtles? Will this even come out on Blu-ray? ARGH, I'm getting worried now.

It's already showing here. I missed the press screening. It will be on BD for sure.

For the US or international market, they may need another line for the title. When I first got the e-mail about its impending release, I thought, "Intellectual Property Man?"

It's pronounced Eep (short, not long) Mann (German style).

Ohh, don't worry. It will definitely come out on Bluray just like most recent HK titles has, but only as an import. And it will included english subtitle. Hong Kong movies usually comes out very fast, like within 2 month so I can see this movie coming out at the end of February.

Sweet! this shouldn't be region locked either judging by the recent Hong Kong releases, -if it is- I'm doomed.

No way. There is a reason why Donnie has always played second to Jet Li in movies they are both in. I like Donnie Yen though he is one of the better guys in the business.

Wow...is this actually coming to the US? If so, I will be there. Love Donnie's movies. It looks like it could be my new favorite for him over Iron Monkey.

That's because Donnie Yen wasn't popular back then when he was in Once upon a time in China and Hero and at the time Jet Li was in his prime and very popular. Besides, that has nothing to do with how good their fighting capability is or who has better screen presence. Jet Li is a good actor, but his fighting performances are slightly below Donnie Yen. Donnie Yen just has more style and intensity in his fights.
