Ok well basically i have a QSC 850 amp right now that i use for my turntables with 2 12 inch speakers, but i want to get a Onkyo 606 and Polk surround sound for my PS3 and tv.
Can i even run my turntables plus some surround speakers from just the Onkyo? Would the QSC amp basically be useless? |

The 606 has 7.1 speaker outputs which includes both surround and surround rear jacks. Well, I now use my old amp and equalizer in my bedroom for the world's most expensive iPod player ![]() |

No, you don't need to get rid of your current amp. You can use it separately with other speakers or save it for use in a pre-pro/amp setup with a compatible receiver (Yamaha 663, Onkyo 805). You can also hook up your turntable to your Onkyo, however, if you want to run a separate stereo system, then I'd suggest not doing that.
