If Utah wins - They are the NC's in my book!!!

If Utah wins tonight - I believe they deserve the title or at least a shared title of National Champions. The are beating the team that 1 loss Florida beat to get to the NC title game and they are currently undefeated!!! I think that's saying something! They are currenly handling Alabama way better than Florida did! If anything they should have gone to NC game instead of Florida (loss to Ole Miss is unexcuseable)!

P.S. I live in Florida. (but I'm an FSU Fan!!!! )

Utah just proved one thing I have been saying all season.....Alabama is way overrated. National champ is winner of OU/Florida since I'm an OU fan. . Boomer Sooner!

I like Tebow - he's a great guy. Its the politics in College football that I don't like. Utah didn't play a sched as hard as Florida or Oklahoma's but they still played 6 bowl teams - beat them all and handled the SEC West representative like a stepchild!!!! The same team that Florida had to comeback and beat. You've gotta give the Utes some respect...The BCS system is flawed -and it backfired!!!!

Here's my conspiracy therory: (this thread is meant to be fun - not harsh )

The BCS got what they wanted - the SEC champion in the NC Game and whoever. Now to cut off any arguments - we will make pairings that will favor the higher ranked team - so they can't have any arguments.

USC - Penn St. (tradition but can be broken) BCS didn't want USC to beat an Alabama or a Texas - they would have too much of a case! But USC still makes a case - Their only lose comes from a team that manhandled its bowl opponent! USC in turn dominates Penn State!

Texas vs Ohio St - definately didn't want Texas to beat a USC or an Alabama
(didn't Texas vs Alabama make since instead of Texas vsOhio St. or Bama vs Utah ? ).

Bama vs. Utah - Bama is fresh off of being dethrowned as number 1 at the end of the season (title games hurt ya (perfect record going in) or can help ya (if you lose early). Bama should mop over number 6 from a non BCS school - don't give them an argument by letting them face off with Texas - the Mighty SEC should be able to handle the Mountian West....NOT!!!! Utah crashes the party and upsets the whole plan!!!!

Playoff system is definately needed! Too much SEC fanboi-ism with the coaches poll (who ensured that the computers wouldn't let Texas into the title game against Oklahoma - who wants to see that - al-la Ohio St. vs Michigan - one of the greatest games in football history - I would have liked to see a rematch of Texas and Oklahoma!) ESPN even expresses SEC bias. I actually think theres also a BCS Conference bias that must be destroyed!

I think any team can beat any team on any given day! Athletes are everywhere now - including the small schools - thats why I like the NCAA Basketball tourney - Even the small schools can shine! The Bowls need a playoff for sure!!!!

I do believe Oklahoma will win this game - Florida's Dbacks are fast (they get to the ball quickly) but they haven't faced a top 25 offense all year. Another thing - the average height of the Gators dbacks is 5'10" the average height of the Sooner's receivers is 6'3" sounds like a replay of Michigan vs Florida last year - 4 to 5 receivers on the line - make Florida play man-up and throw over the top to whoever you pick. Leave your RB back for pass protect or a release valve al-la Hart. That's how Alabama almost beat Florida - they needed one more receiver (Michigan had Arrington and Manningham) Bama only had Jones. Florida used double coverage on him. They can't do that to Oklahoma. If the Sooners go up by 2 TD's - they will attempt to run up the score every chance they get!
