now i am not a fanboy of any sort, but you can say this about any system.... Metroid 3? Mario Galaxy?(It is just a platformer like mario 64 and sunshine) Wii has COD3 and 5 and another smash bros game. Mario kart 6 or 7 including handhelds. Zelda 25? see what i mean. there are new games on all the systems and sequals on all systems. Bioshock, Mass effect, Gears of war, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Wii Sports, Cooking Mama, That operating game. All new IPs.

Funny at first but if you think about it it sounds more like someone jealous of Nintendo success trying to get even or something.

Allow me to answer:

The Zelda series
The Metroid Prime series
The Conduit
The Super Monkey Ball series
The Sonic Wii Games
and so on ...

If the point is "not as many as in competing machines" I'll say true but a few VERY good games beats a lot of mediocre games.

As for the Wii not being HD, I have to agree with it. Wish the Wii was just like the 360 and PS3's amazing 1080p graphics ... oh wait the 360 is not really 1080p, it's upscaled and the PS3 has 90% of 720p only games ...

Don't get me wrong Nintendo has had a fantastic legacy as a games and games consoles producer.

The wii however is selling out that legacy and has possibly cheapen it's future value with more games like wii music take precedence to the point where you can no longer relay consider it a real games console.

Honestly i hoped apart from the DS Nintendo would have stoped making games consoles after the gamecube and start publishing games on the Xbox360.

Call me a dreamer if you will but it's clear Nintendo don't have financial power to make a decent games console inline with today's technology.

I am not sure you understand where Nintendo is coming from. They are geared towards kids, casual gamers. They are not for your 360/ps3 gamers. Hardcore people. Nintendo has a legacy and a really BIG following. Nintendo also has plenty of money and they are more than capable of developing a system that should take advantage of newer technologies when the time comes. They are also very smart in terms of how they marketed the Wii and it's price point.

You make more money selling something at $250 than you do at $350/$500. You don't make as much profit per item, but in the end - you sold more and that negates that fact. Your profit is in quantity, not per item.

Nintendo is not going anywhere. They will be around a long time to come.

Yeah now there geared towards kids and casual gamers as you call them. But before Nintendo still offered an appeal to hardcore gamers. Now it seems while yes they still have some great games they are letting novelty titles like wii music take precedence.

Things that you will only play for a month with very little substance. That's the average wii game. Is that then trying to appeal to the masses or just sell a brain dead product to socialites and 10 year olds.

I think most ppl will agree with the latter and i think most ppl will agree that while yes the wii has made Nintendo millions. It's also heavily damaged there brand name to gamers.

Socialites and 10 year olds don't stick around gamers do. So in the long run Nintendo is going to lose out.

Yes you see why Nintendo do that is because there all about the money now. Microsoft and Sony want to offer a product which is for games and make money. Although the PS3 is more a Blu-Ray player first.

Nintendo don't want to make a games machine. They want to make something that looks like a cute furry hamster.
