Default Need help with speaker placement(PolkRM85)
I'm wondering about the best speaker placement for my system.
I bought the Polk RM85's. Now this package comes with 2 RM7s and 2 RM8s. I'm just wondering if I should have the RM8s as the front speakers or surrounds. Right now I have them as the surrounds. I was also wondering, cause the RM8s have 'wide dispersion array' should I have the second driver facing the rear wall or facing the front of the room? I'm just wondering what will give me the best surround. My room is kinda square shaped and the sofa is up against the back wall so I have the surrounds on the side walls facing each other. Looking for any info/opinions from people who might have the same setup.
