Default Characters that ruined the movie for you

I was re-watching Transformers last night and still can't stomach that radio Transformer guy (don't know his name). He totally ruins the experience for me. He's the new Jar Jar Binks IMO. Terrible character in an otherwise great movie.
So I guess my question is what movie character really annoys you? To the point of ruining the overall experience.

Have fun with this.

Samuel L. Jackson in Lakeview Terrace!

Can't remember his characters name though.

He played the character VERY well, and it was an otherwise, very good movie... But I just hated his character SO much that I had a really hard time enjoying the movie (I suppose he was a success then eh?)

ok in all seriousness, i know this has been discussed before but Renee Zelwegger in Appaloosa. I didn't think she ruined the movie for me, but definitely brought it down with her weak performance, especially knowing that Diane Lane was almost cast instead.

hall of fame, all time leader: jar jar binks. nothing else compares in the category of a single character that ruined a movie, if not a saga.

Jar Jar in episode 1 to this day I refuse to watch it again an if I had my way it would be burned and buried in a 10 foot hole so it couldn't harm future generations.

I agree. All time winner (loser)

Recently, The daughter in Taken. I cant believe the director let her miss by so much.

Goo-goo-ga-ga like an infant...I wanted to kill her myself

Wonderful thread, change the name to "Let's All Bash And Have fun In Our Eternal Hatred Of Jar Jar Binks"

Serious, I don't mind Jar Jar like everyone does. Plus I don't understand how a minor character who as less then 15 minutes total of presence in a movie can actualy make you want to stop watching it.

Will Ferrell, now that is a pain too watch and does destroy and kill every movie he is in with the simple fact that he open his mouth. He is in the movies a lot more total time then Jar Jar will ever be, yet everyone run's to see his movies. They must like torture.

Anthony Anderson and Rachael Taylor's characters in Transformers. Wholly unnecessary. Taylor was put in it for eye candy, and what a set of legs on her, let me tell you.

And I also agree with the above post about Will.

LOL. I had a buddy who used that term alot. He would say, "kill them. Burry them. Dig them up and shoot them again and burry them one more time."

I have a general dislike of children in films. Probably why I have not yet got round to watching any of the Harry Potter films !!!

...and why I have only recently managed to sit through E.T.

...and a real problem as I like the Terminator films.

Watch The Fall...it will change your mind...that little girl is pure magic...

Back on Topic....Anything that has Melanie Griffiths in it...I can't stand that woman...I completely abhor anything she has done...

I have a dislike for animals talking to humans in movies. Ex: Golden Compass, Nardia, etc.. Somehow the Harry Potter movies are ok with me. Go figure.

Oh yes, I forgot about that. Very good call, I hate talking animals too. Animation is OK with me though.

i know right. she WAS actually cast, but bowed out because production was taking too long, and was thereby replaced by Zelwegger. Such a shame...
