Off Topic made me have bad date - Blu-ray Forum

So there was a thread not to long ago about great hamburgers, all these people kept saying 5 guys, I had never heard of it. So, anyways, Im drivin down a road about a week ago and I see a 5 guys, I told my gf, that we need to go there, because I heard it was really good and I didn't know we had one.

So, we went last friday and quickly came to the conclusion that 5 guys sucks.

I pay 5-6 bucks for a cheeseburger, just a cheeseburger, no fries or drink with that and I can't even freakin specify how I want it cooked, give me a break. not only that, but all the meat is cooked is Well Done. Ridiculous.

The burgers sucked, not even considering the price. If somebody handed me a whopper or a 5 guys in a blind taste test, id probably go with the whooper.

She didn't like the environment, she thought it was loud, I thought it was kind of fun, but whatever.

It cost me 17 freaking dollars. I could have gotten a blu with that, maybe 2. Im not complaing about a 17 dollar dinner, but given the food quality, service and everything else, I could have gotten a lot bette meal for 17 bucks.

anyways, won't be going back and i will be more wary of your advice off topic.

marley and me almost made me cry too later that night and i felt like a wussy, minus the w, insert a p instead. i don't ever cry in the movies unless its bambis mom gettting kaboomed.

Sorry you didn't like it. Personally I love 5 guys, the burgers are awesome and you can choose to put any toppings they have on them, the fries are amazing and yes it is more expensive than a McDonalds or a Burger King but I think it's well worth it. And the Bacon Cheese dog is sublime as well..

in and out is all west coast i believe. but fatburger is east coast. there's only a handful in ohio even..maybe it'll make it to you eventually. so yummy

The only places similar to that around here are Red Robin, Culvers, and Backyard Burger. That's all I can think of anyhow. I've never heard or seen a 5 Guys.

I thought the burger was ok, but the Peanut Oil fried french fries suuuuuuuck!

gross. I hate peanut oil fries. God, im getting that after taste in my mouth right now just thinking about it.

There use to be a Backyard Burgers here. They closed down because of no business. Never went in there. It was out in a spot where they weren't going to get any business.

I've only eaten there once and I wasn't impressed so I never went back. I go to Culvers because they're one of the few places around here that have a Reuben.

Don't have one around here. For good burgers I usually go to Red Robin. That Royal Red Robin Burger that is topped with a fried egg is the bomb!
