Default Help finding gamma setting with Vizio Gallevia

im trying to do a calibration using the Ratatouille calibration tool to fix the grayscale, but i cannot find the gamma anywhere? if anyone knows where the gamma setting can be found on this tv, it would be very helpful!

I just did the same yesterday......printed the calibration step too...if your gamma adjustment isn't found anywhere on the TVs menus the instructions stated to adjust using the contrast setting.....hope this helps....

There isn't gamma on the vizio's part of what makes them lower quality... the lack a more perfessional settings menu.... It drives me nuts with my vizios campared to my samsung.

i just wen't on the disney website and read it, wow that's kind of crap, without much to do with grayscale, the tv looks really sh*t...

i's definately aggravating especially trying to get the best out of it without expensive calibration. And this tv is really hard to calibrate with simple color bars...i don't know but its hell for me. Can you possibly share your settings on your Vizio with me? Mine is all over the map!

Ill put up the settings I use, they are just by my eyes though.

Here are my settings I have a GV42L... or something like that...

Picture Mode "Custom"
Backlight 30
Contrast 100
Brightness 62
Color 41
Tint +2
Sharpness 4
Color temp "Custom"
Red 115
Green 123
Blue 110
Advanced Picture Adjust "ALL OFF"

Most of this I got off of CNET and the rest is by the eye.
