I would like to see a display of it at BB or CC. I thought 120hz looked fake enough, lets see 480hz on a lcd.

Man, I can't believe people still think the 120hz refresh rate is the reason some LCD's look "fake." Honestly, there is no hope for some of you people...

120hz =/= AMP, all it does is allow each frame of a 24fps source to be displayed 5 times where 60hz tvs can't evenly display a 24p source evenly so some frames are displayed 3 times and others only twice creating the judder effect. I truly don't see how 480 will be anymore of an improvement. The only thing that will fix motion blur on lcds is a faster response time( time it takes for each pixel to open or close). the motion blur u most likely notice is naturally created by ur eye and the only things that would fix this are movies filming at a higher frame rate or Technologies like AMP(automotion plus) that mimic higher frame rates by creating frames. If you notice, plasmas do not have a calculated response time but do have a calculated hz. So therefore if hz is so important, why don't plasmas have blur?

If I'm wrong about any technologies or processes, please feel free to correct me.

+1

"motion enhancement" frame interpolation is one of the worst ideas anyone in the CE industry has ever come up with.

LOL...yeah, it's continually frustrating that people don't know that the refresh rate of the TV (120Hz) is not the same as motion enchancement/motion flow/etc.
