Now that I finally have a semi-respectable setup, I thought that it was time to look back 13 months to when I first moved into my first house.

Any feedback/suggestions are welcome!

Here we are, the night I signed the papers!



Yep, the walls were salmon. Now I'm moved in and started on the painting.


Here we are, walls are finally painted.


Alright, I finally bit and got a real TV. It's a 47LG50 and a LG BD300 Blu-Ray Player, along with non-HD Directv.


Now it's at its present setup, with all my toys. Xbox 360 Elite, Nintendo Wii, Directv HD DVR, with all of it internet connected (the modem and router are hiding out back)


The beginnings of a great Blu-Ray collection, and my 360 games


Next up I'm looking to add a good quality receiver, to go with a set of Sony speakers that I've had for years.

how much do you have to spend? i'd recommend going for a newer sound system to go with blu-rays.

I'll probably get something mid-range in terms of a receiver, and then upgrade my speakers later

Thanks, it's the Crate and Barrel Loop 54" Media Center. A little pricey, but it really fits well in my place. My house was built in 1920 and I was scared to hang a flatscreen on the wall, so this worked out well.
