Default HOUSE SHARK - It's JAWS in a house!

From highly acclaimed Z-grade low budget horror comedy director RON BONK!

Movie is finished but they are doing an INDIEGOGO for other perks.

NSFW Trailer:

Blu-ray is at INDIEGOGO, it will be a pressed disc.

***1ST STRETCH GOAL HIT, 2ND STRETCH GOAL ADDED

So now we are ready with our next goal, and we are setting it at $12k. If we can hit that amount, we will do the following
-Expand the DVD & Bluray to a SPECIAL EDITION 2 DISC SET
-Expanded extras about the movie
-Reversible/alternative cover art for all physical media
-Awesomely cool die-cut sticker with all the physical media orders!

In conjunction with the new stretch goal, we are offering 2 new perks – a Skype session with me, the Director. Now you might say, “Whoopee-dee-doo!!” but that’s not where it ends. YOU CAN BE IN OUR SPECIAL FEATURES FOR THE MOVIE. The Skype call will be recorded and added to our extras on the disc – you will be immortalized FOREVER on a movie that will be seen by thousands of fans! We will possible discuss such things as: “House Shark”; your favorite shark movies; when you first saw “JAWS”; your favorite “JAWS” inspired monster movies; your “go to b-movie” and so forth. This is your chance to speak up and let your opinion be heard!

There are two options with the Skype – 1) Skype, included as extras, copy of movie on Bluray or DVD w/mini poster & pin or 2) Skype, included as extras, copy of movie on ALL THE MEDIA plus ALL MERCHANDISE (except where otherwise noted) PLUS a SHOUT OUT BY NAME in our close out tribute video after the campaign.

Now $12k may seem like a lot, but we hit $6k in 9 days, and we have 21 days left, with the final week often seeing the biggest surge in sales. So this is more than doable! I wouldn’t be here as a filmmaker or able to make a movie like House Shark without your amazing support. THANK YOU!
UPDATE: 2nd stretch goal reached! Release now includes a 2 disc special edition (pressed discs) and reversible cover art! Campaign almost over, get in orders now!

UPDATE: 3rd stretch goal reached! Release now includes an Indiegogo-backer exclusive slipcover!

A lot of shark fad movies over the last few years. There was even a land shark movie by Wynorski that was decent fun. Might check this one out if it gets a pressed disc.

Direct to video movies like this completely miss the point of what makes bad cinema great.

Ron Bonk movies are different than the typical DTV fare. He has a very, very unique and bizarre sense of humor. I imagine this will take bad "shark cinema" to the next level. If you like bad cinema I wouldn't knock it til you try out a couple of his films.

If a mere 30 additional people put in for the Blu ray Disc perk on indie gogo within the next 3 weeks it will be a pressed disc.

And remember, you won't find a house shark in a mall, that would be a mall shark, we're lookin for a house shark![emoji23]

I love bad movies. Look at my collection for gods sake - who the hell has The Apple and Force: Five? But I've never been a fan of stuff like the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra and later Troma flicks, stuff where they go "Look, we're making a bad movie! Wink Wink! This is cheesy!"

That shit is boring to me. I'll take a legitimately bad but fun movie like Yor or Spacehunter over self aware stuff like this.

I consider myself a bad movie curator, and I have everything from old unintentionally bad movies to new intentionally bad movies.

For me, intentionally bad movies can be great, so long as the entire premise does not hinge on "Look we are making a bad movie!" or "Look we are making an 80s throwback!" because those are the movies that are well, just plain bad. But there are newly made intentionally bad movies that don't take themselves seriously which ARE quite awesome. They are tough to find, but I have high hopes for HOUSE SHARK based on Ron Bonk's past films.

CHRIS SEAVER is actually my favorite director for recent intentionally bad movies with twisted sense of humor.

There's nothing in those trailers that a 15-year-old who has seen Jaws couldn't come up with.

Judging from just the trailers, I'd much rather watch Trees, the shot for shot (almost word for word) remake of Jaws. . . but with a pine tree.

You can even find a shark in a supermarket. BAIT 3D, from 2012 is actually a fun Australian film about shoppers trapped in a supermarket after an earthquake triggers a tsunami and several bloodthirsty great white sharks end up in the flooded supermarket.

Yes, it is available on blu ray in 2D and 3D formats and it is well acted with good effects so it is a lot of fun!

Agreed, Bait 3D is great fun and it actually is a good film despite the wacky premise.

Backed this yesterday at the Blu-ray level. I own more shark movies than I should, but I really can't seem to get enough of them. Even so, I still dream of experiencing my own blockbuster shark movie akin to Jaws.

Probably not, lol. Not holding much into The Meg either but oh well.

New stretch goals are up, $12K will upgrade it to 2-disc sets with additional extras, plus reversible cover art and a sticker. New reward tier includes a Skype call that would be included with the bonus features.
