Default Receiver for USP-1?

Is there a receiver that will sound as good as my USP-1 that I could make the change for? Suggestions?

Both. Love the sound of the Emo but I am collecting to many pieces and would like to simplify things. Thought about Oppo 95 but not sure that the Yammy is what I need? Bought the Emo wanting to go vinyl but not sure that is going to happen now, not enough space.

?Both the Oppo 93 or Oppo 95 can be used with your current receiver & TV.
?You have space left & right of your center channel up top,for a turntable. I can't believe the BDi stand doesn't have enough space. You still have the XDA-1? Get an XPA-5 to replace the XPA-3 & UPA-2.

You could replace the Yamaha & USP-1 with ( Integra DHC-40.2 Surround Processor ).

Id say Integra or Anthem, maybe even marantz... but I like Marantz's older sound vs their current more denon like sound.

Was going to put TT in middle pull out but it's nt wide enough. Would like to combine the USP-1 and Yamaha into 1 and get the same sound for music, and TV would be great too, tha I get from the Emo now. Maybe just going with an Oppo and getting rid of the PS3, USp-1, XDA-1 and the Sony DVD/CD player is the thing to do. I want the perfect receiver I guess.

OPPO 93 and Integra 80.2 or 80.3 will do the job for you.

Wow, you really do have the upgrade bug. Lemme know if you ever find your 'magic box' 'cause I'm still on the lookout for a USP-1, lol.

Think I've decided to stay with Yammy and USP-1 for now but things can change in the future. I did add the Oppo 93 and it should be here tomorrow. Thanks Amazon and free trial of Prime. @ day shipping for $4 more and free shipping. Oppo wanted $18 for shipping.

Congrats on your new Oppo-93. I love Amazon's Prime too, very speedy shipping from them and for me no CA's sale tax when I bought my Oppo through Amazon, cool!
