Default Did I buy the wrong Sub

I have recently put in an order for an Elemental Designs A2-300. However I really like the Polk Audio PSW505 for the price. Any suggestions on this? Also any other suggestions for a powered sub within a $400 price range? Thanks in advance

I have the A2-300 and couldn't be happier! Trust me, you made a good decision.

Here, I'll be negative Nancy for a minute. Here are the only things you would possibly have issue with on the eD:

1. Size.
2. Look.
3. WAF.

#3 goes with 1 and 2, but whatever. The performance of the sub for the $ is definitely up there.

If you already measured it out and have a spot picked out for it (say, replacing an endtable ) I think you should keep it. Besides, the eD guys are probably busy making it now, and that's kinda shady.

A couple of Sony 8 inch subs, a Cerwin Vega 15, and a Polk 10. It outperforms all of them and probably most everything else in the price range. Looks are the only thing not going for it.

You chould compare the graph in the eD thread with the one posted in the review in your PSW505 thread.

What's WAF. Size and Look isn't a problem...My TV stand is home made and not even painted. Big Woop. I'm going for some tight clean bass that can hit hard. And I was wondering if the Any Polk Sub within the the EDs price range will match up, Including the PSW505 which has recieved really good reviews

For me it does, 18 HZ @ 93 dB is rediculous for a $350 dollar sub....

You won't regret it Crazy, great sub for a great value. The only way I would have chosen a different sub is if I could have freed up enough cash for this bad boy.

It was a little to far out of budget though....
