I'm surprised this wasn't released on Blu-ray along with the remastered DVD a few months ago. At that time there was a limited showing in theaters as well.

really? war games? its not really a movie that would benefit is it? I mean I know they could do HD because its film n all but why? Not alot of shots that would benefit.

Wasn't the 25th anniversary last year? Someone really dropped the ball on this classic. Thought this already had a thread. But m'eh, I'll repeat myself.

This movie deserves the blu treatment simply for the graphics of the war room WOPPER computers. Can you imagine those reds, greens, blues, and whites flashing on your plasma or LCD at 1080p? Heaven.
