if this is true, how is marvel gonna justify not paying the man that they based this characters image on in the comics???

unless jackson knows that marvel won't pay anyone else and is now being a prick out money.

WOW,first Terrence howard and Now Samuel? Marvel should have just signed them all up for multiple movies like Peter Jackson did for The Lord of Rings.

If this turns out to be true, that is going to suck.

Either way, if Nick Fury isn't in the films or is played by another actor, it's certainly going to take the enjoyment down a peg for me. I think Sammy J. would be the only perfect linking point for all of the members of The Avengers.

look @ this from jackson's point of view. it's crappy, but money talks.

i read that marvel actually asked him for his permission to draw fury using his likeness. in jackson's mind, they've already case him as fury in any movie he appears in. why would marvel back pedal after doing that and pick another actor. why not play hardball and squeeze every dollar he can from them???

i like jackson as an actor and really hope he's not this kind of person. but again, it's a business.

Time will tell on this one.

Money comes from a lot of different places in the film industry.

Things could always turn around.

Also, never underestimate the power of Blue Harvest.
They aren't always telling the truth...especially on the net.

There is no one more over-rated or over-cast than SLJ. I'm sick of seeing him a) play the same role over and over and b) period.

I can't think of a single movie that I enjoyed him in.
