Before we start preaching gloom-and-doom, let's try to put this in perspective. We are in a world-wide recession, so naturally sales/earnings are down. How do they compare to Sony, Samsung, LG, Etc? Comparable.

Look at the specifics:

14% - Overall sales drop
21% - Drop in components & devices sale
19% - Drop in automotive electronics sales
13% - Drop in digital AVC networks sales
9% - Drop in home appliance sales
6% - Drop in audio/video equipment sales

I know you aren't, but others will jump on this in a vain attempt to support their "plasma is dying" agenda. Just wait and see...

Consumer spending has been slammed. It will be slow to rebound.

But it will rebound.
