Default Which movie scene is a tearjerker for you??

For me, I have to go with the ending of Man on Fire. I have probably seen this movie over 15 times and it gets me everytime.

What about you?

The ending of BoB when the actual veterans are giving their closing statements. I'm not sure why, I'm only 19, but for some reason I tear up a little everytime.

Without a doubt, the scene where Dumbo is rocked by his caged mother's trunk.

- Dances With Wolves at the end when John Dumbbear leaves the camp, and Wind In His Hair climbs the mountain-side yelling the friend thing.
- The end of Schindler's List. I don't think I need to describe the scene.
- The end of Saving Private Ryan when Grandaddy Ryan loses it at Capt. Miller's gravestone.
- Star Wars Episode II. When the credits ran the first time I saw it. Tears of joy that the freakin' movie was over.

Another one for me is in Cinderella Man, when Braddock is begging for money.

Do you mean Best of the Best? If so, I did too and the ending of Cocoon. But I was young when I saw Coccoon. Best of the Best wasn't sad however. Went for the so damn honorable ending you couldn't help but get all choked up.

Most Recent: Benjamin Button: The last 10 mins with kid benjamin not remembering the woman he loved. the baby benjamin scene when he closes his eyes while in her arms. I almost choked up in the theater but my eyes got watery on Blu.

Million Dollar Baby: the Last 10mins dialogue between the two characters make me cry. Great acting Hilary and Clint!!

Without a doubt, Marley & Me.

Wasn't too sure what the movie was about before I watched it. I think watching it so soon after my dog died was a bad idea

When Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) confronts the ghost of his father at the end of Field Of Dreams.

"Dad, wanna have a catch?"

Starts me crying everytime.

I've never cried during a film since I was very young (and even then barely). Though the top three 'teary' moments for me would have to be.

Blade Runner: Battys death (its just so beatifull shot, scripted, acted, etc).
Casino Royale: The death off vesper.
Shindlers list: many moments.

In Braveheart when Mel screams out "FREEDOM!"
I saw the movie when I was about 12 and I cried then. I am 24 now and I still cry at that part

I hate watching a dog die. I couldn't get the scene from I am Legend out of my head for months. Marley and Me, I couldn't even finish it. My dog is 2 years old, just thinking of the day she has to be put down chokes me up.

I am Legend is one of the saddest movies for me. I couldn't help but think of my dog. I was told not to watch Marley and Me as it would have the same effect. I'm sorry about your dog therob, mine recently died, and I fell into a weeklong depression.
