Default James Bond Box Sets

Okay so, there are 22 bond films, and QoS and Casino Royal are being released stand alone, leaving 20 films, the box sets have been coming in 3 movies per box, anyone know how they will make the 7 box set, or will the make number 5 and 6 have four films?

I think I read somewhere that Quantum of Solace will actually be apart of the next set of boxes, with Casino Royale being the only standalone title. So you'll only be looking at 21 movies in the Boxsets instead of 22. I may be wrong though.

The info regarding Quantum being part of Vol 4 is from a Norwegian site and still a bit sketchy IMO

It is being discussed here

But basically it states vol 3 and 4 will be:

Vol 3 - The World is not Enough, Gold Finger, Moonraker
Vol 4 - Licence to Kill, The Man with the Golden Gun, Quantum of Solace

instead of the previously rumoured:

Vol 3 - Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, The Spy who Loved me
Vol 4 - Licence to Kill, GoldenEye, The World is Not Enough

As Moonraker has been announced and it only appears on the Norwegian list, there is a good chance that list will turn out being correct i guess. I'm still holding out hope for 2 things though:

1 - Goldeneye still making it this March
2 - Quantum of Solace not being included in the box set

There are 2 reasons I don't want Quantum included. The first being that I would certainly much prefer 6 oldies and a newbie in march vs only 5 oldies and a newbie. It would make more sense to release them in 3 waves. 7 in the first (if you include the re-release of Casino), 7 in the second, and 8 in the last (I think it would be 2 sets of 4 like the OP mentioned). If they include Quantum in a pack this time, they'll have 9 remaining and that just doesn't make things as easy.

The second big reason I don't want Quantum included is that it really appears they are gearing towards a double dip on that title being that previously mentioned special features (ie alternate/extended ending) are suspiciously missing. I don't want to either have to spend more money to buy them separetly to avoid the double dip, or buying an inferior QoS now and wanting/probably getting the eventual double dip.

EDIT - Just found this in The Digital Bits Rumor Mill for 12/01/2008

It appears that Fox and MGM have tentatively set the following titles for the second wave of Blu-rays: Goldfinger, GoldenEye, License to Kill, The World Is Not Enough, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker.
Since that list includes Moonraker, Goldeneye, and 4 other oldies, I may still be in luck afterall
