Default Need help...

I just bought Hulk on Blu, and when I try to play it I get the same error every time. It loads and goes to the menu, I select play and everything is fine. When it goes through the disclaimers and gets ready to start the movie the player just shuts off and restarts, so I can't watch the movie

What can be causing this? Is it a case of needing a firmware update? I have an older player and haven't used a firmware update yet, but it seems odd it plays Dark Knight with no issues>

Hmmmmm.....It still sounds like a possible firmware problem, even though it came out before the Dark Knight. I would go ahead and update the firmware, and if it still doesn't work it's more than likely the disc is bad.

I tried 21 as well, and that doesn't want to load at all. But then popped in Dark Knight and had no issues. It's weird.

What is the brand and model number of your player and TV? Are you using a computer or a stand alone player? It sounds like you use a stand alone player but this sub-forum is for Blu-ray played with a computer.

You are correct I put this in the wrong place, sorry about that. I have a Sony BDP-S300 hooked up to a 37" Toshiba Regza 720p.
