Multi-room DVR can only send SD recordings, not HD. I found this out last year. So now I have two HD DVRs.

Aside from OTA, Fios is the best quality HD programming I've seen. Fios internet is good too.

Billing is an entirely different story.

I have the internet service, haven't gone with the cable service because i know 2 friends of mine who have had billing problems.

My problem I think stems from just having the internet (I don't actually have the cable, my in laws do). Apparently when you only have Fios internet, you HAVE to have automatic withdrawal for billing. I have tried to get out of this numerous times. This seems like it's pretty straightforward, except they screwed up my bill I think six of the last nine months (which, when it's automatically withdrawn and it's the SAME %$@$# PRICE every month, I find absolutely insane) and the automated billing obviously leaves you at their mercy. The last straw was when they charged me twice for one month and I finally went to my bank and they're dealing with it now. So far so good, since then

Oh, and not to mention that every time I call with a billing issue, I get transferred, LITERALLY, a minimum of three times.

Time Warner is single handily the worst cable provider ever. Im in your same area and the HD channels compared to Cox is unacceptable. We have like what 20 channels at most and Cox has like twice as many if not more (and most importantly to me the Discovery Channel in HD). I can't wait to move and get rid of TW and go to Dish, Direct TV or Cox

I have verizon fios, there are alot of HD channels, don't think we have had any billing issues with them for awhile, in the beginning we were overcharged, but they have gotten alot better about the billing
