Default LONESOME DOVE and THE STAND

LONESOME DOVE was a made-for-TV movie that (thankfully) was originally shot 16:9 for foreign theatrical distribution and was released on Blu in 16:9. Does anyone know what the original aspect ratio was for Stephen King's THE STAND? The standard DVD is not wide-screen, but if it was originally filmed in 16:9 I think it would be a greatly appreciated Blu release.

what does aspect ratio have to do with it being released on Blu??? there are 4x3 releases on Blu already that are magnificent. (Casablanca etc..)

Isn't Lonesome Dove 1.78:1?? The Blu transfer was marginal at best also...

Pretty certain The Stand was shot & aired in 1.33:1. I just recently got the 2-disc Artisan OOP DVD set off of eBay, and it is 1.33:1 full-screen.
