Default Are Queen available in RB or GH?

I was jsut wondering if any of their songs are available in any of those games. They already out in SingStar as song packs and singles in Europe and AUS and an upcoming SingStar Queen disc for PS2 and PS3 will be coming out for the United States.

Not in either...yet. I'm sure they'll eventually come around, but who knows when.

Different negotiations. Although, has Queen become available in NA for SingStar, or is still every other market but NA?

I am a massive Queen fan and would love them to be in RB or GH. I've heard rumors that there will be a Queen pack coming out for GH but nothing confirmed. Personally I would rather that they would be on Rock Band.

Queen is coming to the PS2 on March 17th 2009 for Singstar. Which means that its also coming to the PS3 as after that patch, all PS3s can use PS2 Singstar discs.

Weird...I was listening to Queen and posting (both on PS3) when I saw this thread, so I had to click it! Queen is insanely awesome.

jono, don't forget Radio Ga-ga, Don't Stop Me Now, Stone Cold Crazy, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Somebody to Love, I Want to Break Free, oh hell...ALL of them!

Do you guys think it's possible that the reason Queen tracks haven't been released thus far is because a whole GAME is in the works with only Queen?!? Like Guitar Hero: Aerosmith and Guitar Hero: Metallica? That would be AMAZING!!!

I saw "Queen + Paul Rodgers" a couple years ago at the Hollywood Bowl...which was basically jus Brian May, Roger Taylor, some other guy that wasn't John Deacon, and Paul Rodgers. Brian May is eternally awesome of course, Paul Rodgers...well...I guess he probably did his best, but I wasn't impressed. Obviously NO ONE can replace Freddy, but Rodgers' style was just SO different, it was hard to listen to him when every note is etched in my brain. Really I just went to see Brian May, but got a HUGE surprise when SLASH joined them on stage!

PS: My sackperson SO needs a Freddy Mercury outfit! White pants with red side stripes and tank, yellow jacket with military-looking front closure thingies or his arm band, holding mic stand...that would be sweet

haha, i didnt forget, just didnt feel like typing all of the queen songs if like to see on rock band or guitar hero, so i figured id just include the ones that i figured EVERYONE would like to play, i mean, even people that arent queen fans still want to play we are the champions, right?

I looooooooooooove Queen, but We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions are SO overexposed in sporting events, movies, commercials etc to the point where they're cliché. Very few REAL Queens fan would name either of those two as their fave song.

There has been some call for it, but other countries get Queen more often than USA. I am a HUGE fan of Queen, have been all my life. It is sad that Americans don't know that much about them, and often ignore them. Many music games get Queen songs in every country EXCEPT America. Very sad but true.
I hope they have some more though.
My favorite songs by Queen.... hmmm... there is All Dead, Master Stroke, Radio Ga Ga, Who want to live forever, Teotoriate, Crazy Little Thing called Love, and so on and so on....
I just love queen and am DYING to play some Brian May riffs on GH or RB.

BTW...
BUY the NEW Queen + Paul Rogers Album, "The Cosmos Rocks". It is pretty good. True, Paul Rogers can never replace Freddie Mercury, but NO ONE can. It is better to listen to them with a good singer that they get along with and is from the same time as them then not at all. Paul takes some getting used to, but I like him, he is an excellent choice!

My sis (also big queen fan) made a Freddie Mercury character in City of Heroes, called "Mr Fahrenheit". lol brilliant!

So far SingStar Queen Packs are only available in the European countries and Australia. Another One Bites The Dust is on Lips, so far SingStar is winning by 16 songs by them, I was able to get hold of someone from Australia and help get a Queen Pack and Don't Stop Me Now, I might as well just buy the whole catalog.

i agree with what you there, but im talking about as far as appealing to a mass audience of people who arent necessarily huge queen fans, i.e. a lot of people that have these games, there arent many people out there that wouldnt want to buy either of those songs to play on rock band or guitar hero, so they would be the songs more likely to make it onto these games, although rock band DOES have a track record of bringing some of artists lesser known songs to their games, so i guess there is a chance

I think the biggest stumbling block to Queen appearing in RB or GH is their the fact that they would need to provide multi-tracks for the games. They may not be particular thrilled about that prospect.

Several months ago several master multi-tracks of Queen songs leaked (Bohemian Rhapsody, Get Down Make Love, Killer Queen, Stone Cold Crazy). The leaks came from some pro-tools training materials. The band were not happy to say the least. They are however incredible to listen to.
