I know it's great! I lived in the cold for 28 years, so it is nice to not have to worry about freezing temperatures.

46 miles straight west of Chicago. My jeep registered -21F WITHOUT windchill at midnight when I got out of work. If the Winter Classic game was again tomorrow..I'd go... It was that cool...

had a high of -7 yesterday but we're hoping to hit 0 today here in central WI.

it's sad, i had the urge to go ice fishing the other day while snow blowing the drive way & sidewalks in this weather.

Growing up in the north (NY) I find it hilarious when I see everyone around here all bundled up with scarves, hats, skiing jackets and gloves when it's in the 50s/60s....

Around here it's currently 43 degrees with a high of 60.... I miss true winters. I really do.

Oh come on!

This is where we spend, what my Dad and I call "vacation", ice fishing twice a year (first ice/last ice). Gordon, WI

Currently: -31, and you bet I'd be out there fishing! And this is coming from someone who hates 95 degree weather with 100% humidity.

We'll be up there in two weeks ice fishing.

ok, u go about as far north as we do but we're more towards the middle of the state. we don't deviate much from I39/51 which basically divides the state down the middle.

there's really nothing like ice fishing. just gotta make sure u've got a 30 pack and then a hip flask for those quick warm ups.

Where are you located?

Not a drinker here, but my Dad drinks. Though I am "legal". I just use some hand-warmers. I'm usually the one catching fish anyways, so I don't have much time to open a cold one.

It was -22 real temperature this morning in Iowa, -50 with wind chill. Local schools were closed because of cold Wednesday and Thursday, and delayed 2 hours today. Supposed to hit 5 above 0 today and 28 tomorrow though so it looks like it's almost done.
