Blu Ray Media Player

Does anybody know if there is a certain device that will record blu ray movies, then allow you to store them and watch them at your own convienance? Such as, coming with a touch LCD screen which then you can scroll through all the blu rays you have recorded on to your media console?

I heard Pioneer was thinking of something of the sort in 2009, but I dont know what happened to that.
