Default Max Payne Blind Buy?

I loved the video game, is the movie worth a blind buy, or was it a big bust? What other movies would you compare it too.

My friend was a fan of the game and was deeply upset that Max Payne had at least two facial expressions. In the game the character only has one (says my friend).

For what it was, it was good. My local Best Buy released it early so I snatched it up. I don't regret buying it.

My wife and I enjoyed it in the theaters as a good 2 hours of entertainment; however, I have no desire to see it again...I'd rent it first before I bought...don't think it is for everyone.

God forbid he starts a thread on a frickin' forum. The world must be ending. Dude, get a life.

I also was wondering about buying it having not seen it yet. I didn't hear good reviews but I never really got into the game either. it could be a good thing going into it with no expectations.

On another note, my disappointment with it was that it was nothing like the video games. The video games were a lot better.

Terrible movie. I did enjoy the James Bond girl in the beginning of the flick in lingerie though.

I think you're tougher. I mean just look at your avatar. Not only that but you just sarcastically called another guy "tough guy." That's pretty tough in my book. In fact I'll leave you alone now before I dig myself a deeper grave.

It was awful. terrible, terrible movie. the style of the flick was pretty good but the acting and plot were just a mess. When Ludacris shows up I thought that said it all. This movie is LUDACRIS!!!

I liked the Max Payne movie, but I never played the video game, so I went into it with no preconceptions of what it should/would be like.
Just saw it a few days ago for the first time, and I thought it was enjoyable, and right away thought it would look awesome on blu, so I can't wait to pick it up. My 2 cents.
