Default Mummy: Tomb and BD-Live with Panny 55K

Has anyone had this issue...I have a Panny 55 and I just brought the mummy...I use a wireless connection (adapter) to get access to updates, BD-Live etc. I have used it with every BD-Live movie and all m updates (2 so far) and always worked great. Yesterday, I almost through the movie in the trash because everytime I loaded it it started to go for the connection and then it failed and that damn "network connection failed" message appeared again and again throughout the movie.... I then tried other disk (TDK, Wanted, etc) to see if there was a problem and it worked like a charm> I then tried it upstairs on the Sony 350 and it (mummy) worked fine...So it is not exclusively the disk, nor is it the player>>>has anyone else had this problem...I think maybe it is that the mummy has some serious bandwidth issues (too much content for a moderate connection) or Murphy was messing with me last night....Any help would be appreciated...BigMel in need...on a positive note...if anyone has kids...u can send a great video message from Santa from Disney....my daughter was awe struck....thanks guys and Merry Christmas

Default Network Connection Failed with Panasonic BD35k

I was having the same problem with the BD35, and it was just the size of the SD card. I was using a 128MB card. Once I replaced it with a 2GB, the network functioned. It seems its just a bad error code, its not the network, but the SD card it needs to download to.

It appears to be some kind of compatibility problem with the Panny 35 and/or 55 and Universal's BD-Live. Try other Universal BD's with BD-Live such as the Mummy BD's, Serenity, etc. with your Panny 55 to see if you get the same error.

There is another thread somewhere where others have this problem. I think the solution is to either remove the SD card or actually delete the problem movie data from the card. I've got 8GB SD cards in my Panny 55 and 35 and still get the network error with Universal BD-Live. Might take a firmware update to fix.
