two completely different genre's so impossible to compare i reckon..
most will probably say the second two matrix films were a major dissapointment in comparision to the first whereas with the bourne series - the films are all pretty solid.. if i was to pick one film from all six it would be the matrix... but if i was buying a set now - i might pick the bourne set (having seen the matrix films a lot) so maybe go for the bourne trilogy - then pick up the matrix on its own in march... |

Since we're talking blu-ray high definition and not DVD standard definition, you have to go with The Ultimate Matrix Collection. Although the Bourne movies arguable have better acting, it's movies like the Matrix that do blu-ray justice with their heavy special effects and broad vision.

![]() I can buy both if I want. Think about it OP, you're comparing apples to oranges. Two completely different genres entirely. If you were to put a gun to my head and force me to make choice, I would have to choose the Matrix (although in my mind I would be thinking, "But the Bourne series is good too."). Then my head would just explode. Thanks OP for ruining my day. ![]() |

I'd go with the Bourne movies as they have a much better story line with MUCH better acting. (Matt Damon or Keanu Reeves?) The first Matrix movie is really good and works well enough as a stand alone film. The last 2 were just pointless IMO.

no questions about it. all 3 movies are great. Matrix series has 1 good movie, with 2 others, where im sure the picture will be amazing on blu, but plot really wasn't that great.

i dont think there's much to choose between Reeves and Damon.... maybe i'll get shot down in flames for that... Damon is pretty wooden in the bourne series if you ask me...
