Default Cars you wish were in your home country?

Well, there are a ton of cars that I wish were available in the US but are only available through import and those fees can be expensive! What are some cars you wish they made available to you in your home country?

Not available here in the US:
Clio Sport V6
Turbo AWD Nissan Pulsar
Cars by Holden and RUF

The closes you will get to an Holden in the states is Pontiac (Some models are just rebadged Holden's, G8 & GTO). But I would like to see more diesels over here.

a true Nissan Skyline. The GTR is badass but I would still want a Skiyline.

Yeah a nice R32 or R34 would be crazy. I miss the redesigned GTO. I really liked that car but the American public didn't.

I liked it also, but did not do justice for it's badge... Should have called it something else, not GTO.

LOL you're right because if they had called it anything else it probably would have sold like hotcakes. I remember Rhys Millen dominating Formula D when he used the GTO.

A friend of mine has one . . . his, and literally every other person's he knows, has required significant repairs after common LS2 modification. If it were kept stock, it'd be a pretty nice car.

I'd like to see the Focus RS. Only Ford under the GT500 that really as any appeal to me.

We have a heavily modified LT1 with an LT4 cam in the garage, was not very reliable. But did it move that Trans Am, I tell you... The motor needs to find something else to move, lol.

Cars you wish were MADE in your home country?

how about an ultra fuel efficient stylish small american made car thats reliable isnt going to have major electronic problems or blow alternators or power steering pumps at 25,000 miles ? something that can compete with the honda fit, the toyota yaris etc, it. I know there is the Chevy Aveo but it is so godawful ugly and cheap looking. the Ford Focus gets decent mileage but another ugly duckling. Its sad the american car companies cant make cost effective small cars and has to outsource them from korea or mexico or anywhere outside the us.

Diesel is great. Mercedes knew that a long time ago when they came out with their Turbo Diesel sedans.

The powers that be at the Big 3 decided that horsepower is more important than anything else back in the day. That's how Toyota & Volkswagon got a foothold in the american market. Only winners drive corvettes, hummers, any $50 thousand suv & losers drive 4 cylinder+ V-6 cars.

The problem is that they're more losers like myself as I drive a 4 banger grocery getter car that outnumber the winners. You can tell which car companies caters to car buyers: the eliteists or the joe6pack.

My straight 6 engine spanks every v8 it comes across.

But then again I have the fuel efficiency of a warthog.

What's great is that there are things you can do to make those 4 bangers ROAR. Skunk2 tuned a Fit that was able to keep up with a tuned M3.
