Default Extending range of wireless controller

We're building a dedicated HT and I want the PS3 to be part of it. But in order to accomplish that I need a way to increase the wireless controllers signal. It needs to reach about 15" and through a wall.

This is an easy fix for remotes, but whats the solution for gaming?

The range of PS3 controllers is well past even 30 ft. I've tested a PS3 controller well past my ability to see what I was controlling (over 60 ft. on a 73" screen)! I have perfect vision, btw.

Edit: Unless that wall is made of freshly poured concrete (within 5 to 10 years), I don't see how you could have a problem with the current range of these controllers.

My Ps3 is downstairs in a finished basement and I have been upstairs and down the hall in my office (where had my controller charging) and I turned the ps3 on from the office... So you should be just fine...

Thanks, that's encouraging for the controller at least. But has is there a way to work the move at a distance? The move controller is wireless but the camera is not. And from I was finding on the web, a wireless version isn't on the horizon. Is there a 3rd party device or creative jerry rig that could close the distance?

The camera connects via USB. You should be able to buy a USB extension cord and connect the Eye to it.
