PS3 Supports Sony's Free Movie Website, Crackle

This is mostly for those who have changed the PS3 browser home screen. I saw a blurb about it in the upper right info box on the PS3 so at first I thought there was an app like the Hulu app. Today, in the what's new orange box, there was a "watch movie on Crackle" link and it opened the browser in a similar box as YouTube. Now if you go to http://www.crackle.com with the browser, it says that this old browser is not supported. But click on a movie and you get the same box as you get on the what's new link.

The PQ is probably close to DVD and its available in full screen. Crackle is owned by Sony and the movies are uncut, though may have a commercial break. You can visit the site from any online device to watch movies. You don't need any account. The list of movies includes some really great ones, not obscure garbage. I actually saw Pineapple Express for the first time on the website.
