Assassin's creed 2 confirmed - Blu-ray Forum

That is sweet! I enjoyed the first game as well. I know i did not mind the repetitiveness of the game since it was fun. They had a alot of good ideas with the free running. I'd like to see if they can build off the they did in AC1. If AC2 is not as repetitive, it would be awesome.

+1. EDIT: I thought the 1st game had promise but fell short of the hype. If AC2 is less repetitive and better story progression it could be what we all hoped AC1 could have been.

The first one SUCKED and is one of the worst games I've ever played.

I will not be getting anything else with this branding.

I don't get it either. It was ok for the first hour or so, and then it was the same thing over and over again. The fighting was horrible, I mean only one guy attacks you at once, giving you no challenge at all. Once you learn the timing of the combos you dont even get hit.

Wow. It wasn't that horrible, actually to me it wasn't horrible at all, just a bit repetitive, I will be keeping my eye out for 2.

I guess it depends what you likes in game, for my GTA4 was not less repetitive or even prince of persia. I just really like running and jumping on every roof. And I love the cities design. But maybe its because I knew that it was going to be repetitive and only just got it as a gift this christmas so I had no expectation.

I agree with you. If AC2 is made with the good aspects of the first one it could be a good game. It was linear, but it was still fun to explore the cities. THe figthing can be improved upon to be more intense and epic. One hit kills are only so fun for so long. Though i was entertained by the simple repetitive nature of the game, it did not have a lot of replay value for me. I sold the game when i was done with it. The free running aspect of it was cool, yet could be improved upon. They do need to make a story that is not so repetitive.

wow, im shocked they are making this since the first was was pretty bad. i mean graphics and gameplay are good, well gameplay good for the first hour or two. my biggest problem with it was that it had the worst ending to any game ever made!

that would be becasue the story didnt end yet . they said it was a trilogy from hte start ..

i liked a lot of hte ideas in the game but yeah the second will need some major flushing out for me to gain interest and yeah basically once you learned the counter the fighting became a hit one button afiar .. wait for the attack and do the killing counter .. .

I would still like that they keep or improve more in stealth kills than crowed fighting.

I agree with this post only because we have the same tastes in gaming. Once I played Uncharted, I couldn't go back. I bought into the Assassin's Creed hype and it failed to deliver. It tried too hard to become an in-depth Prince of Persia.

yup, i agree with the fighting.. and i did not know it was a trilogy from the start. that explains a few things then... interesting..
