Talking D.o.a Ps3

seems the next installment is headed for PS3, any of you think this may also mean a D.O.A XVB game for the PS3.

I know how many of u guys in here want that one on our shiny PS3

Heres the link to the story: http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/1148.html

It would be great to get the series from the 360, but I always loved the tekken series so much more.

Since DOA: hardcore, I've enjoyed DOA instead of Tekken. Tekken seemed a little repeticious to me. The counter moves on DOA are a lot better too.

I saw an article from a Japanese mag that supposedly was saying the same thing but I didn't post it because I couldn't be sure. Hope it's true!

Must've come from somewhere and Japanese mags should be most likely to catch on!

The Megaman update for the PlayStation Network could be very cool too.

I never really got into DOA, like virtua fighter I don't like the the way the fighting progresses. I much prefer Tekken Soul Calibur, and Street Fighter.

I'm a big VF5 fan. Would DOA be a good one to try as an alternate game? Tekken does not do it for me.

HELL YEAH! I love this game! This is the reason why I bought my 360. This was the only game I played so much on my 360 and Xbox. If it comes to PS3, I imagine it'll be 1080p 60fps just like Ninja Gaiden Sigma. If this is true, I can very well get rid of my 360 since it's just taking up space.

I was disappointed with DoA Xtreme 2, it was the only game in the DoA franchise that moves below 30fps. Now I can imagine it being in 1080p at 60fps on the PS3. And their cutscenes would be in full 1080p, I always thought Tecmo had some of the best pre-rendered graphics in any game...

I just liked how there were multiple levels in any given stage where the fight could progress.

I hope they stop using self-shadowing unless it's the very crisp-edged type used in Escape From Butcher Bay, The Darkness, Quake IV etc. OR they manage to smooth the edges out sufficiently with the other shadow type.

Crap shadows look bad enough just cast onto the environment but self-shadowing seen closup in cutscenes really needs to be perfect.
