Are these chairs worth it? - Blu-ray Forum

I found these chairs on a Craigslist-like website for sale locally, do you all think they're worth $500? I've been looking everywhere for new seating and I'm unsure of value because I haven't done enough research.

I hate "home theater seats" for the same reason I hate them in the theaters - elbow fights.

Get separate chairs. You can save money, and the extra foot of space used for three more arms is worth it.

But..I love home theater seats

I have limited total width in front of my 52" LCD to stay within good viewing angles :P

they look alright try to talk them down to 400-450

Well...dang...OK.

Check out the condition. The cupholders are where these things fail first...fabric gets torn, stained, stuff like that.

The two seats on the left look well "loved" so to speak. The cushions look a bit warn and stained........ but $500 might be a good deal if they can be cleaned and "fluffed."

I went to check them out, and you all were right about the two on the left being worn

BUT there is good news, I found another set on Craigslist that were in a very nice home and were well-cared for, and I feel like I got a bargain for them too. I'll have some pictures up when I finally take pictures of my home theater!
