Here's an interesting question
![]() I've been hanging around the galleries for a while now, and in everything from budget setups to the very high end, I see people using stand alone BD players as well as the PS3. What would be the practical reasons to having both in your setup? And by practical I don't mean: "I want to see my reciever display showing its decoding HD audio." or "I want to save my PS3 for gaming." The former is simply an I'm-an-HT-freak-and-I-HAVE-to-see-it issue (though I can certainly relate lol) and the former is a purely subjective matter as there is no conclusive evidence (or any type of evidence for that matter) that using the PS3 for movies "wears it out". So what do you guys think? |
