Default Planet of the Apes - Ultimate DVD Collection, or?

Does anyone here have any experience with this release?

http://www.amazon.com/Planet-Apes-Ul...3122915&sr=8-9

This just looks awesome! I realize that it has been released on Blu, but its region A locked, and the UK one is pretty flimsy and expensive
I can buy the Ultimate Collector's one for less than $100 which is pretty cheap.. This is a blind buy, but really want to know if it as awesome as it looks? According to Amazon they should be THX remastered.. Do they look good for standard def movies?

Thanks

I think the OP likes the oldray DVD set because it comes with an ape head. The BD set is really fantastic: it comes with a 200-page hard cover book that is simply breathtaking. Who needs head anywayif it only comes with the oldray DVD? I'd rather have 1080p pristine PQ and DTS-HD Master Audio SQ.

Youre right about the head thing! The set looks amazing and it includes the tv-series, the Burton movie and the animated series all on 14 discs.. Just seems solid.. If I could play the US edition over here, i'd buy it, but its locked
