I just got back from watching this movie. I can't believe there isn't more buzz about it! Great film.

I usually don't recommend movies to my parents as our tastes are very different, but I think this is a movie that they would enjoy. (definitely my dad anyways)

Anyways, if you haven't seen the movie - I strongly encourage you to do so. If you have seen the movie and enjoyed it, what did you think about it?

Go see it!

Just saw it yesterday, an absolute gem. It's so down to earth, nothing feels fake or forced, terrific acting that's not over the top at all. Great dialogue, very funny and touching at the same time. I can't wait to see it in blu.

Really great movie with a compelling story but the acting brings it down imo

The priest and the Hmong boy were

Eastwood was great though, I loved it.

Ah, I searched before I made a topic...Nothing came up.

I kind of thought there were areas where the acting brought it down. Especially with the boy and the gang. Clint was great though.

A Masterpiece. Pure and simple. There's isn't anyting about it: that I could fault.

Watching again, only confirmed it. It's criminal it wasn't nominated.

It felt like the brother to Million Dollar Baby, or is it just me?

After watching it yesterday, I think it was the best movie of 2008 hands down. Great movie for Eastwood to hang his acting career on.

What an outstanding movie. Easily my #1 or 2 of the year. Travesty that it wasn't nominated.

I love this film. I hate the acting by the Asians, except for the grandmother. My wife's parents went to go watch this and her father cried.

Stay off the man's lawn though.

It is a travesty that it was passed over for an Oscar. The Oscars are slowly becoming a popularity contest instead of a true awards ceremony.

This is just one example of a worthy film getting passed over.

I have to say the Asians can use a little more work on thier acting skills, but since NONE of them have any acting experiences...they did alright. Clint Eastwood's acting was so superb it overshadow everybody on screen. Then again he does have over 50 years of acting experiences.
