Default Limited Blu Rays in stores

I don't know if it's just me, but I live in Maryland and the best buy in Bowie, md has a nice selection of blu rays, but when I got out to the Best Buy in Tyson's Corner, VA they have a way more extensive collection, but not every movie that's out is there, SO where can I possibly go to find every blu ray there is in one location.

Well I was a Best Buy, Wal-mart, Target and before they went under Circuit City customer. However I have been buying almost all of my Blu-rays at Amazon.com. Search here at this site and click to buy or put on my wish list. I live in the Orlando Fl area and I usually make the purchase on Saturday or Sunday and have them by Thursday or Friday. Also Amazon runs some good bargains which most of the time blow away the big box store prices.

Retailers are simply never going to carry all the Blu-rays that have been released, but they rarely did that with dvd either. Best Buy carries what it thinks it can sell at profit and what generates store traffic. Amazon is your best bet for more obscure catalog titles and independent releases.

The wal-mart by me is worst on not carrying alot of titles. They never did get Transformers in, don't have King Kong, never got anymore Clone Wars in after selling out. There selection is horrid.

It's not possible.....

Even online retailers can't carry them all because there are STORE EXCLUSIVES (such as the Sears concert blus etc)

I get most of mine at Best Buy but when I can't find it locally, I just get it from amazon.com.

If what your looking for is general enough, and not totally obscure, you should be able to find it.

Same here. To be honest Best Buys in my area have a very good selection of BD titles.

Fry's near me doesn't have them all, but they sure are close IMO, and have tons.

Best Buy charges too much money. I buy from Fry's and CD Warehouse. Occasionally Best Buy will have AMAZING sells and mistakenly price a few items and I'll buy from them, but most of the time I won't.

Funny, because I really want to use my Reward Zone card to get more points to get more stuff, but not at the extent of spending too much money in the process.

I VERY RARELY buy from Best Buy. I even have a Rewards Zone card. The amount that I save buying from Amazon and other online retailers is much more than I would ever get from collecting points. Unless Best Buy has a price that matches Amazon I don't even bother. Example. I want to get Dead and Buried. I checked the Best Buy website. $29.99! Amazon is $19.99. Lets see, spend $10 more to get a few Rewards Zones points so I might be able to get a $5 reward or save $10 instantly?

But anyway, to the OP, everyone else is right. It is not possible for stores to carry every release, especially when there are more and more every week. Best Buy still doesn't get every DVD that is released every week. They only get the stuff that they know will sell well and will be the most profitable.

If you are looking for the lastest releases yes Best Buy and the others will have them but looking for other releases well it's easier to order from Amazon.

On a vacation to the US I went to a Barnes and Nobles, and they had i'd say around 4-500 titles... But not 2 of the same! I know they are horribly expensive but I was surprised to see the huge selection
