Default Sammy950

So I did some window shopping this past weekend for the 950. This tv blew my mind..I was there for about a hour just looking at it. I had the tech put in Ice Age, Planet Earth, and Transformers. IA so was 3Dish it was like the cartoons were gonna jump out the screen. PE looked really good as well. TF..the faces were so clear it was like being there watching the action while it was being filmed.

The picture was so bright and clear..much more than the high end plasma. I think i'll be adding this to the family in a few weeks...I have to sneak it into the basement past wifey.

If this tv looked this good..I wonder how it'll be when I have my contacts in!!

I haven't had a chance to see the 950. I hear it's amazing, and I've been blown away by how good the 850 looks i can't even imagine how good the 950 looks.

I seen the 950 next to a Pio plasma at a high end store, he said everything in the mini setups were calibrated using DVE HD disc, The 950 was in everyway looking as nice as the Pioneer. I am telling you I was absolutly shocked at how nice the 950 looked.... Also that was the first time I had ever seen a Pio Elite calibrated and that was totally awesome too. I wasn't as excited about the XBR8 although it was really nice too, the XBR7 had clouding... I showed it to the manager. And the 58" Panny 800 was also great looking.. But honestly, their was a Toshiba there that was every bit as good as the XBR8. I could have stayed there all day.... everything was hooked up to B&W speakers and on Blu-ray, with Denon receivers.... AAHHH, heaven.
