OK, this stems from another thread, thought I'd make a list.
What computers or consoles have you owned since your first? Mine: Sinclair Spectrum 48k Sinclair Spectrum +3 Sega Master System Nintendo 8bit Sega Megadrive Nintendo 64 Sega 32x Sega Saturn Sony Playstation Sony Playstation 2 Apple iMac 2.0ghz Dual Core Sony Playstation 3 I'm sure there's one missing from the list, but can't think what it is at the mo. ![]() |

3DO, that was the one I missed. Brilliant machine, shame it failed in the marketplace.

Waaaaaaaaay too many!
Computers: BBC Micro (given to me by my uncle when I was four) Amiga500+ (replaced my BBC at six) Commodore64 (replaced Amiga at seven) Apple Macintosh Centris (renamed to Quadra, about nine when I got this) Gateway 2000 60Mhz Pentium Pro (about eleven) Brother "Laptop"(can't remember the model number for the life of me, the least laptop thing ever, about eleven again) HP Pavillion desktop (again the model number is beyond me, 13?) Dell Inspiration(?) laptop (Must have been about 15 when I bought this) Acer Aspire 1650 (what I currently use at college, bought myself at age 17) Self-build - C2D E6600, 2GB Corsair, 8800GTX, WD Raptor, Ubuntu (put together last summer when I was 18) Apple MacBookPro - whatever model they have at the 15.4" screen range in 2008. (Will be about 20 when I have the money to buy this. Consoles: Sega Master System NES Sega Genesis/Megadrive SNES Sega Megadrive 32x Sony Playstation Sega Saturn Nintendo 64 Sega Dreamcast Sony Playstation 2 Xbox Nintendo Gamecube Xbox 360 (sold) Nintendo Wii Sony Playstation 3 (well soon anyway!) Ed: forgot handhelds! Nintendo Gameboy Sega Gamegear Gameboy Colour GBA GBA SP NDS Lite Sony PSP I am only 19 so most of these were bought for me and usually it was for me and my sister (who is 21), but she was never interested in computers until the advent of MSN Messenger and later Facebook. Atari 2600
Commodore 64 Sega Genesis w/ Sega CD, 32X SNES Sega Saturn Sony Playstation (HAHA I was a Sega backer then coming from the Sega vs Nintendo wars. I got the Saturn first cause i though Sony having a game console was silly. When was that, 1995??? Then 2 or 3 years later of holding out with the Saturn, someone told me my car was in this game called Gran Turismo. And from then on I love the Playstation!) Nintendo 64 Playstation 2 Playstation 3 (camped out for 3 days) Xbox 360 My Sega Saturn is still with an ex girlfriend. I broke up with her and decided not to come back for it. LOL |

Consoles in order of purchase:
Intellivision Atari 2600 Nintendo Sega Genesis Sega Gamegear Super Nintendo Nintendo 64 Playstation Gameboy Advance Playstation 2 Playstation Portable Playstation 3 Computers: For computers I'll only list my current machines as listing them all would be a daunting task. I will say my first PC was a Radio Shack TSR-80... the original HTPC as you needed a TV to act as the monitor. ![]() Gaming rig - AMD 4200 x2, 4 gig DDR2, Nvidia 8800 GTX BS Office rig - AMD 3500, 1 gig DDR, ATI Radeon 8500 All-In-Wonder HTPC - AMD 3800, 2 gig DDR, ATI Radeon 9800 XTX Laptop - HP dv9000 The HTPC is next in line for upgrades at the moment and all its hand-me-downs will end up in the office machine. At that point the All-In-Wonder will be retired as I can't remember the last time I had need of it. These days all my TV watching in my office is pre-recorded by the HTPC anyway. |
