Default Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet (2005) on BD anytime ever?

Since the recent passing of the late greeat Gerry Anderson, and the 10th Anniversary of 2005 CGI-animated series "New Captain Scarlet," wouldn't it be a great time to get this series released on Blu-ray for the first time on both sides of the pond? (previously only available on Region 2 PAL DVD).

They should have released it with The Thunderbirds. I guess that was more popular than CS though. I have the DVDs and will upgrade the Thunderbirds to blu eventually.

Someone please move this to the Wishlist section.

Anyway, with Shout! taking over the ITV catalog, I wouldn't be surprise if they eventually put this out.

According to a post on another thread ITV also have a US deal with Hens Teeth.

From what I recall ITV sold the rights to NCS sometime ago and no longer have the rights to it- although I don't know if that was just UK rights or world rights.

And Anchor Bay, Scorpion, Synapse, and VEI (the latter released The Protectors recently).

It's probably owned by Anderson Entertainment now.

Anderson Entertainment had just recently located the HD masters which is mind boggling to know that they were missing. It appears that they are thinking about an HD release but not sure if it is a BD or Online release (or both). There is a North American license holder that has had NCS for a few years now and they recently told me that the series would be made available online later this year (not sure where or what format).

So things are moving in the right direction for this series. I have the DVds but would love to see this show in HD.

Networks 2014 UK Supermarionation set gives you 4 ( or is it 3?) although they are 50i.
Along with HD episodes of Joe 90, The Secret Service and Stingray amongst others.

The episodes are split over 2 releases but the first one , which also includes the feature length documentary is available in the Amazon 3 Bluray for £20 deal at the moment.

Only the Scarlet pilot on there so you also need the HD21 set too for the others but I think that might only be available from Network ( or as part of the elaborate boxset)
