Default Fluance Speakers

I just replaced an old Pioneer HTIB receiver with a Sony STR-DG820. While I love the new receiver, the old Pioneer speakers just don’t cut it. I would like to replace them with something better, but I am on a budget. I have run across Fluance speakers online. The reviews for these speakers have been VERY good. In fact, I have never seen anything like it.

Has anyone had any direct experience with either the Fluance AVHTB package or with Fluance in general? The reviews have been so good, that I almost suspect a scam. They will cost approximately $400 Canadian (including shipping, taxes, dollar exchange).

Yeah, based on Fender's story, the internal looks of the cabinet, and dobyblue saying they were basically white van speakers, I'd be hesitant to purchase from them.

Check out The Speaker Company- while I don't own them, there's a member here that loves them and they have good reviews on Audioholics. They're definitely budget speakers.

Outside of that is the usual Polk or Klipsch offerings. What's your budget?
