i'm pretty anal about that stuff; i buy those dust-off cans and do it like once every other day. then again my apt accumulates a lot of dust.

i just wish the ps3 wasn't such a scratch magnet. even if i wipe it off with a micro fiber cloth there are small scratches on it everywhere.

I try to dust off my projector every day but no matter what
I do it attracts a lot of dust. I dust my Blu Ray palyer and Amp about once a month. The once a month is a full body deal but I'll dust it lightly if I see anything.

Is it grounded properly in a three prong outlet? It sounds like the (metal?) surface of your projector is attracting oppositely charged dust particles. I have seen some electrostatic air cleaners create problems like that with electronic equipment.

It's plastic. And no, I bet it attracts the same amount of dust as everything else, but because it is black and shiny I can just see it better.

I dust my PS3 once a week, the rest, not as often. Sometimes once a month. I'm so bad about dusting.

Pioneer Elite's black piano finish is a super dust magnet. That said, I "try" to clean the Elite stuff and other components at least once a week.

When I was working in town I dusted at least once a week, if not more. But the last couple of months I've been working out of town and coming back on weekends. I think I've dusted twice.

I dust off my system with a densely made ostrich feather duster. It does a fantastic job with no scratches left behind. Super light and super soft, and just a light touch with the tips of the feathers knocks everything away. I shake the feather duster outside once in awhile to clean it off. It was given to me some 20 years ago, and it still looks and works like new. There's no way I'm going to use any of the "plastic wands" or other synthetic surfaces for dusting purposes.

It looks a lot like the one shown below, only on mine, the feathers are light brown and much slimmer and more delicate in quality.

Minimum once a week.

Black glass shelves get dusty-looking very quickly!

That's so funny you asked! I just dusted right now before checking new posts... I use this Monster screen spray. The blu stuff with a microfiber towel.
