Well finally got around to posting my pics. I know it's not the greatest and I really had to "make-do" as far as the room layout was concerned. Anyway, I think I've come a far ways since my first version and all thanks to this site as well as some others, but mainly this one lol. As always I'm always trying to improve it so if you spot something that could help that would be great.

Nice! I used to have the same stand for my BD's my collection outgrew it though. I still have that stand around here somewhere

Heres a question that maybe I'm hoping someone could help me on. I'm considering of getting rid of the couches for some HT seating. I'm looking at the costco berkline seating in brown microfiber in a 3 seat configuration. If I place one set to the backwall on a raiser the front row would only be about 7-8 feet away from the screen. Is this to close? Or should I look at maybe a sectional instead? I need seating for about 6 since I like to entertain.

So I've rearranged my front stand so it's more cleaner, but I've run into a snag. It seems that my HT is near complete and honestly I miss the fun of building things, and upgrading components. Here are some things I am considering and would appreciate some input.

1) Emotiva xpa-5. Would love to get into seperates but the more I think about it the more I think that my current speakers wouldn't really benefit that much from it.

2) paint the ceiling. Right now it's a white with a sheen to it and the previous owners did a pretty crap job. So I'm thinking either redoing it in flat white, or the same color as the walls which is bear desert camel. Or maybe something darker or lighter not to sure which would look best.

So please I would love some input on how to improve my theater but yet keep it clean and functional.

best watched at night....haha,a lot of light coming in to be using a projector in the room....

if the walls are camel, I'd go a couple of shades darker, towards brown for the ceiling.
