I'm sure most people feel that way but any parody with Marlon Wayans I'll most likely find hilarious.

This one looked funny on the ads. I liked the Scary Movies, Superhero Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Paranormal Activity movies, so maybe...

It's gotta be better than "30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"

Maybe rent first on Pay-Per-View before buying.

Me and my fiancé went to see this at the theatre...I went with low expectations but we actually laughed and had fun the whole way thru....Everyone in the theatre was losing it lol. Will be buying when it comes out for sure...I liked it better than most of the scary movies also.

Recieved an advanced copy the other day, watching it now, it's ok, just as long as you leave off your thinking-cap. P/Q is good overall, just a little dark in some scenes, like the blue/night vision scenes. Not complaining though. Haven't had the time to check out the extras.

I saw very little advertising for this film, then again I wasn't exactly anticipating this movie...it came and went very quickly but what surprises me the most is that this film was a success at the box office. $40 million gross on an $18 million dollar budget, rentals, PPV/Cable rights alone will help turn in an extra profit.

Funny but true

I saw it in theatres and it's terrible. The budget was only $2.5M though, and they're fast-tracking a sequel for a winter 2014 release.

This movie was okay. Better than I expected. Still not a good movie, but it had me laughing here and there. But since it's only spoofing PA is gets pretty boring fast and some of the jokes drag on for too long. Overall I like spoofs like Scary Movie better, because they have a wider range. They can spoof more films, and yet don't lose track of their main parody like Scream or The Haunting. Also Anna Faris is just gold in them. Still have to see Scary Movie 5 though, which I hear is extremly bad. But back to A Haunted House. I might even pick this one up in a couple of months when it's avaible for little money.

This site gave the movie a 0.5 rating. We rented it over the weekend, and while it's not a great movie, there were quite a few moment where we laughed out loud at the sheer absurdity. However, it completely lost steam by the end, and once it was over, it was forgotten. Still good for a few laughs, though.

I had fun watching it, in a very stupid, silly, intoxicating way. I liked Marlon Wayans in this, as well as Essence Adkins, but the film is just not a good as the first 4 Scary Movie's (Yes.... I liked all 4 of them), but this was a good time to be had if you need some cheap-ass laughs. Luckily for me, McDonald's, via the Monopoly Game, paid for this nice BluRay rental for me and made it even better. I just wish the disc had more features, but other than that, I might buy it on BluRay if it drops to $5.
