Default Reception

Just installed my new blu ray player last night and am very pleased with it. I connected directly to my TV using an hdmi lead. However when I go back to watching the analogue stations, the piture isn't the way it should be. My digital channels through my Sky box are fine, it's just the analogue. I suspect if I unplug the hdmi lead from the back of the tv, it will solve the problem. Surely there is a better way that i'm missing to rectify the problem. Any advice greatly appreciated. By the way, I have a tv, sky box, blu ray recorder and recordable Sony DVD player all connected.

Are you using cable or antenna to watch TV?

If antenna, try autoscanning all your channels or may be move your antenna location. Also check your TV cable/antenna input to make sure it's secured.

I have Sky as well as an antenna. I would like my picture to be good watching with the antenna. It was excellent before I installed my blu ray player with the HDMI ccable.
