Default I'm On The Home Theater Gallery Bandwagon

There's a lot of pretty nice setups here in this thread. Practically all of them are nice considering everyone has some kind of a budget such as myself. I'm 90% done with my home theater and just need to add some decor and some sound panels to deaden the reflections a little more. The drapes that cover the windows help the front stage but need to add some acoustic panels for the rest of the room. It's a 25x15x8 upstairs loft. The dual PB13's up there literally shakes the wood framing underneath the couch. Anyway here it is....

Great choice on subwoofers, player, receiver - and I can't get over how beautiful that stand is.

Maybe we should start a Socal Thread?

Yeah my wife bought me that popcorn machine for Christmas. Can't watch a movie without popcorn!!! She thinks I'm nuts because even right after a heavy meal, I batch up some popcorn before we start a movie. I'm getting close to duplicatiing movie theater popcorn. I use ActII popcorn, Flavacol for seasoning and coconut oil. Now I need to find out what kind of butter they use............

Damn nice.

I'm lazy. I put the instant into the microwave for 3 minutes. I generally do this when I put in a Blu to watch and can almost have the popcorn ready when the movie finally starts.

Jimshaw, how do you like your 13 Ultra? They are the sweetest subs I ever owned. I started out with a Energy ES8 then a Velodyne VX-10 all under $200. Then I thought I was king upgrading to a Sunfire Signature but now with the SVS's I feel like a god LOL!!!

Small world. I'm in Murrieta, but I shop in the Menifee Best Buy regularly. I was just in there today buying a case for my Storm... and I commute to Corona 2 days a week (telecommute the rest).

How do you like the Storm? I did not like the touch screen when I played with it. I had an 8830 (VZW) and currently have an 8330 (Sprint). I may order the 8350i (Nextel) later, unless the 9030 (Sprint) gets released before then.

Actually I love it! Even will all the criticism from the initial release, I got mine for Christmas after the first firmware update and I've had 2 minor issues with it compared to my 2 prior WM (Windows Mobile) phones which I've struggled with the last 4 years. The WM phones were touch screen based so I'm no stranger to the design, and I actually prefer the Storm's dual-action tap/click screen over the WM stylus and hard qwerty keyboard. It all took a little getting used to at first because the design/usage is a bit different, but now I can't put the darned thing down.

Does anybody know where I can find acoustic panels locally for a reasonable price? Most I see are far and need to order or are there any good do it yourself tips and where one might find the insulation panels locally? I've checked Lowe's and Home Depot to no avail.
